AMOR DE MADRE

Amor de Madre is a personal and emotional exploration of what it means to be held, cared for, and shaped by another.
Presented at La Clandestina in Barcelona, the series reflects on the invisible bonds that define love — the gestures, silences, and sacrifices that rarely become words, yet live deep within us.

Through layered lines, textures, and fragments of everyday imagery, the work traces how affection and protection leave marks on memory and identity.
It is not only about the maternal figure, but about the act of giving and receiving care — how tenderness and pain can coexist, and how love, even when imperfect, remains a force that sustains us.

In Amor de Madre, drawing becomes a way of remembering: a dialogue between gratitude and distance, between the child that stays and the adult that leaves.
